Meet Shelley
Shelley Yeater, SLDS, M.A.
Shelley is the founder and executive director of All Things Literacy. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and transitioned to the role of Dyslexia Specialist and interventionist. Shortly after teaching in these roles she completed Basic Language Skills and Advanced Language Skills (Orton-Gillingham) through Scottish Rite Learning Center in Austin, and completed a Master of Arts degree. Shelley continued her passion for helping struggling readers in education for 14 years. After many prayers, she decided to take her skills and training to start her own private practice. Shelley established All Things Literacy in 2021, providing one on one virtual lessons to students all over the United States. She lives in New Braunfels, Texas with her husband and their 4 dogs.
